Why I like using a compost pail instead of just a coffee can

1. Compost pails are nicer looking. They make a nice accessory to your kitchen counter.

2. Compost pails have lids and filters, so that you don't have to deal with bad smells.

3. Compost pails make it much more convenient to collect kitchen scraps so that you are much more likely to actually keep them instead of just throwing them in the garbage or putting them down your disposal.
